Communication Skills – The Fundamentals
This communication skills workshop is aimed at those looking to gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of communication and improve their communication skills.
In this 90 minute fundamentals workshop you will learn:
- The key elements of effective communication
- The common communication issues that we face and how to handle them
- The 3-step guide and how to use it to become a more effective communicator
You’ll put the theory into practise in a practical activity and by the end of the workshop you will have gained a better understanding of how to communicate effectively and confidently, positively influencing your communication with others.
Meet the Trainer
Daryl has always had a drive to push people to achieve their potential, and surrounds himself with others who help him do the same. His time as a commercial manager at Marks & Spencer gave him great grounding in people management, communication and customer service.
For the past 7 years, Daryl has worked as a FE (Further Education) consultant, supporting colleges, businesses and training companies to build teams, design training programmes and deliver bite size workshops through to degree level qualifications. These roles have seen him work with a vast range of individuals from clients of the Jobcentre Plus, through public sector professionals and the high-performance teams of major high street banks.
Drawing from his own experiences Daryl has an engaging and passionate approach to his delivery style and feels it’s important to signpost how knowledge and theory can be put into practise in the real world.
