The CPD requirements for doctors is 50 points per appraisal cycle.  This is split into 25 internal points, examples of which are Mandatory Training, MDT’s and reading and reflection.

As well as 25 external, examples of which are conferences, webinars, publications and course’s both in person and online.  Below we have included some links to some useful training resources:

COVID Adjustment for CPD (due to COVID this year the CPD requirement is reduced to 35 minimum per appraisal. There is also less importance placed on Internal or external requirements).

Any adjustments in CPD’s due to COVID will be discussed at appraisal and the agreed adjustment will be at appraiser discretion. We will be happy to discuss your personal requirements and situation.
